Clean Comedy Lab is the training ground for comedians who want to work clean. We host a monthly clean comedy event designed to help comedians develop stronger material while providing audiences with a fun, family-friendly night of entertainment.
Unlike a traditional open mic, Clean Comedy Lab combines two types of performers:
- Bucket Pull Comics – Comedians who sign up for the opportunity to perform a five-minute clean set. Names are drawn throughout the evening, giving newer comics a chance to gain stage time, test material, and receive audience feedback.
- Showcase Comics – Invited comedians who have demonstrated the ability to consistently perform a polished, clean ten-minute set. Showcase Comics provide a high-quality entertainment experience while serving as an example of where comics can grow.
Audience members are encouraged to participate by providing feedback to comedians and supporting their favorite Showcase Comics through optional tips and voting.
Our vision is to build the premier clean comedy development community in Central Florida by creating a clear path for comedians to improve their craft while giving audiences a consistently enjoyable experience.
